“Blazing A Brilliant Trail — Qiu Ting Art Exhibition” was attempting to present that an artist with seeming traditional expression has been seeking for an integration of “tradition” and “modern” as a satisfactory way forward in this globalized world. His representative ink and wash painting from nature, the interaction with contemporary photography, the brushwork that blends musical expression as well as the landscape map involved with visual perception, definitely will be a terrific visual reference for our reflections on the entanglement between “tradition” and “modern”.
