This is the first international exhibition that mixes academic animation, avant-garde art, experimental video and new media art in China. The exhibition will showcase the Phenakistoscope Animation Art Award’s shortlisted works by five art schools, study and display the themes of contemporary animation art, application of avant-garde animation technologies and trends of animation visual design, manifest the blending characteristics of animation visual art under the globalization context.
Meanwhile, international animation art masters will engage in dialogues with emerging animation artists through lectures and symposiums. It will construct a platform for animation art communications that drive creativity in motion art and culture.
