During the days of Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War, with the support of the ministry of culture of China and Russia, exhibition Victory, 1941-2015!--Russia Art Exhibition to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the World Anti-Fascist War was co-organized by National Art Museum of China, Hubei Museum, State Museum and Exhibition Center "Rosizo", Moscow, Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum. This exhibition presents major battles and the heroic people during the Soviet Union's Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany with works of art in an epic way and fully shows Russian people’s persevering and heroic spirit in defending integrity of state territory. The exhibition also reflects the good vision to world peace of the people in the two countries.

This exhibition gathers classic collections of 12 important museums, galleries and art institutions of Russia. They have provided the most splendid and precious works for this exhibition, which adequately reflects the precious friendship between the two peoples and their great enthusiasm to commonly commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The exhibition, which consists of 6 chapters: War and Confront, Days of Victory, Memorable Years, Legend and Meritorious Deed, Memory and Recall, Imprinting Forever, showcases 76 pieces(sets) of works in total, including 74 pieces of oil painting and 2 pieces of sculpture. As a large scale show centrally presenting Russian art works themed on Anti-Fascist War in China for the first time, the exhibition not only offers a rare opportunity for Chinese people to appreciate Russia classic art in a close range but also commemorates art event series in memory of the 70th Anniversary of the World Anti-Fascist War, enabling an art show to transcend both art and history and fully revealing the firm confidence of both Chinese and Russian people in valuing history and loving peace.
