16 pieces of works submitted by third year college students from the Interior Design Department of School of Architecture, CAFA who were instructed by Han Wenqiang and Yang Yu have won eight rewards including the first and second prizes at the “BOX 10 Shenzhen Team of Ten Designers - Space Design Award”.
“BOX10 Shenzhen Team of Ten Designers - Space Design Award” was initiated in 2007 and 2013 is now in its third year. It aims to inspire the creative design thoughts of students, find future design talents, and strengthen the communication between top designers and teachers as well as students from the design specialty department at art academies which will in turn contribute to the cultivation of design talents in academies of fine arts. Started in September in 2012, it has received 136 submissions from the Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Shenzhen University, etc. The awards include a top prize(*1), the second prizes(*3), the third prize(*5), Award of Excellence(*20). On March 31, 2013, teachers and students from the School of Architecture, CAFA attended the awarding ceremony and visited the design companies.
