ACT/DESIGN-Exhibition on Creativity, Interaction and Games in Shanghai

From December the 2nd to December the 4th, during the Global Education Conference On Creative Industries Shanghai, ACT/DESIGN will display works from two international selections: Lunarcade and Digital Entertainment Jam. Lunarcade Shanghai brings, in playable form, seven of the most innovative games designed by independent developers from all over the world while Digital Entertainment Jam Lite shows a collection of videos of the most orignal interaction designs and advergames using public spaces. The Exhibition will be on from the December the 2nd to December the 4th 2011.

This Event is organzied by Virtual Performing Lab of Shanghai Theater Academy and Department of Industrial Design, Arts, Communication and Fashion and School of Design of Milan's Polytechnic. The list of artists and designers includes: Lexaloffle, Coco&Co, Tarry Cavanagh, Broken Rules, Ed Key, David Kanaga, Coconut Island, Henry Hoffman, Kate Killick, Monobanda, Mr Beam, Karolina Sobecka, Matthias D?rfelt, Timo Arnall, Jack Schulze and more!

ACT/DESIGN is a partnership between Shanghai Theater Academy and the Department of Industrial Design, Arts, Communication and Fashion (INDACO) and School of Design of Milan's Polytechnic (Politecnico di Milano).

Shanghai Theater Academy is the best public university dedicated for dramatic art education in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. In the last few years the university is also dedicated for new forms of entertainment such as digital entertainment and interaction design.

Politecnico di Milano is is the largest technical university in Italy. In 2009 an Italian research ranked it as the best in Italy over indicators such as scientific production, attraction of foreign students, and others. The department of Industrial Design, Arts, Communication and Fashion and the School of Design are committed to research and innovation in game and interaction design.
