A cheerful?festival and equal platform is offered by 798 International Children’s Art Week for children normal or?disabled to display their artistic talent while calling for more concerns on the children’s inner world from June 1st to June 7th, 2011. In order to attract more attention from charity groups and arouse awareness of individuals about the challenges and other distress faced by children and youth during their growth, ??abundant exhibitions and lectures have been organized to build an amusement park for children?with the support of social juvenile organizations, public community, educational organizations and art circle,? hoping to be the most perfect gift children ever received on Children’s day.

The theme of this year’s art week is “Forest Project”, young artists from all over the world together with renowned Chinese contemporary artists completed this fifteen meters long creation which depicts their interpretation of the “Forest”. Amongst the branches and trees, the forest is a fundamental cornerstone of life on the Earth. It sustains all of Earth’s creatures in one way or another, improving ecological value and housing thousands of Earth’s most unique species. The forest can also be valued for its sheer aesthetic proportions; it is a virtual geological cornucopia of artistry. During the activity, children and artists will be falling into factory of dreams, where art (at its greenest) will be facilitated in an attempt to arouse their creativity and compassion. We hope to arouse ecological awareness in all our participants and audience members, by uniting Earth and art on a day that pays homage to our future: our children.

The art week will also hold the following activities at the same time
