School of City Design, CAFA was initiated in 2002 and it was the first professional college located outside the main campus of Central Academy of Fine Arts. In order to probe into multiple model of education on design, this school is comprised of the department of urban information design, the department of urban image design, the department of urban fashion design and the department of urban video design as well as publishing design studio and animation creation center, etc.
