Migrant Bird Space presents "Amitabha, Boundless Buddha" in Berlin

Migrant Bird Space presents the group exhibition entitled "Amitabha, Boundless Buddha" featuring a novel interpretation of new media.

An experience which makes the Boundless Buddha a subject of discussion. They introduced 10 interdisciplinary and emerging talents on the fields of new multimedia artists from China: Feng Qie, Gao Yutao, Lei Benben, Li Zifeng, Lv Sisi, Luo Qiang, Ju Anqi, Shi Zheng, Wang Ruohan and Zhang Chong. They carefully selected artists step back from traditional art and delve into new media art. They create new aesthetic perception, which they achieve through the combination of multiple dimensions, time, space, numbers and multimedia. Presenting a new generation of digital and multimedia art, these artists let us see their mental thoughts throughout their artwork. Further their work discusses biochemistry and nirvana in a new context.

The exhibition ‘Amitabha’ offers a glimpse into the creative practices of 10 contemporary artists from the China. Visitors are invited to explore the new media maze through the individual perspectives of the participating artists who call it future destiny. The exhibition is divided into three themed spaces: Future & Landscape, Portraiture & Identity, Religion & Spirituality and Language & Calligraphy.
