Talented artists focus on wonderful cross-media - Luo Wei's first solo exhibition- Grand Carnival ceremony for Amy Li Gallery’s new opening was held on June 14, 2014. For this solo exhibition’s opening, the Luo Wei and artists from around the world conducted an in-depth cross-border cooperation, with celestial concerts, costume runway, contemporary dance performances and other forms of artistic expression, integrated within the concept created by the artist planet CP.

"Luo Wei most recent creation based on 'transcendence' highlights the process of self-subjectivity structuration." Liu Libin said, “While remaining a side observer”, she extracts capacity from her knowledge of various religions and achieves an individual existence in a concrete particular fashion, bringing to life the traditional blood that flows in her veins. The perfection of her inner world and her subjectivity structuration are mutually boosting themselves and, barely two years after graduation, have turned into a peculiar method of observation of and interaction with the world. From easel painting to flat installations, she has been expanding the variety of her languages without external help, on her own. Even more commendable is that her artistic languages have always maintained the quality of purity. These languages reveal the way she closely controls the body and substances and pours into them the painstakingly worked out subjects. Her sensitivity towards the body and the language, along with the special relationship that the Chinese have with the body quality, and her artistic language express the world of traditional ink delicateness. And she doesn’t need ink; she just has a cool smile for the traces of ink.

The works on display are divided into a three parts structure - globular structure, network structure, crystalline structure. The globular structure consists of the works of the artist, meaning individual retreat-style introspection and self-healing room. The network structure is for the artist large installations, including video, photography, performance, music, combining into an interlinked infiltrated theater. The crystal structure is a production of the artist to initiate crystal planet projects, create a collective consciousness platform to achieve large-scale recruitment of residents as well as the physical, ecological field associated with the multi-dimensional formation. There are more than 200 works on display.
