The 60th Anniversary Celebrating Exhibition of High School Affiliated To the Central Academy of Fine Arts

Founded in 1953, the High School Affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts(shortly as the “School”) is a secondary art school growing up together with the new China. On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the School will hold the exhibition jointly with National Art Museum of China showcasing special contributions the school has done to art cause of new China as well as its teaching ideas and achievements in different historical stages.

The exhibition, which is mainly made up of 4 parts: works with great influence created by students and teachers in the past 60 years, works of the teachers, excellent works of the students collected by the School and history of the School, will present unique style and features of the School in different period of time.

The works on show, with a long span of time, rich in theme and diversify in contents, are a comprehensive showcase to professional teaching of the School as well as a exceptional review to artistic creation and art education since the founding of new China. We believe that the exhibition will have special significance to both the School itself and the society nowadays.
