These paintings are a development of Gao Ping's previous work on paper with new stylistic effects creating a different visual and conceptual reading. The relationship between objects/subjects and space is redefined. The space is extended to an infinity - in the visual reality and in my own thought.
During the process of painting, the works become images - but not an image of 'reality' - it's a kind of vague trace on the surface of the paper without clear definition.
