Poster of SELF-IDENTITY

Self-identity refers to the process of delivering the enlightenment to ignite the self-awareness and burn out to the completeness of one's heart.

"Burning" is a ceremony with fire being its amazing outlook and inside its core. From "corresponding and reacting to the feeling" to "being still and silent", the left traces of burning material is used as the metaphor to resemble the enlightenment of heart. Everyone can accomplish self-awareness and self-ignition and there is no need to rely on others' logic and words. It is one's own heart to satisfy itself, just as Lu Jiuyuan said, "My heart is the universe, and the universe is my heart." The first-hand intuition has replaced the knowledge and experience that are always the reason and result of misleading. This exhibition, undoubtedly, is to give it a try: Use the fuel of one's inner heart to diminish its relation with the outside world and to share the experience and possibility of opening the inner consciousness.

"Spirit exists with soul, and soul appears with form". This exhibition is to awake the physical experience of the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body and consciousness by weakening people's habitual dependence on visual knowledge, in order to research and feel the spiritual body. This is a challenge to ‘second-hand intuition" that need to go deep into one's own spiritual world, understand, and prove by oneself.

Confucius said "Painting on plain paper", Lotze said "Too much satisfying life makes people blind", Vajracchedika-sutra said "Everything visible is empty". All the visitors that are going to enjoy the show are encouraged to acquire the inner enlightenment with a balanced yet sharp mind and a calm and simple heart.
